ObjectiveTo compare disc peeling instrument with radiofrequency ablation treatment of lumbar disc herniation.MethodsA retrospective analysis from January2007to December2010were treated cases of lumbar disc herniation, including the implementation of the intervertebral disc atherectomy50cases,65cases of radiofrequency catheter ablation. Disc atherectomy preoperative VAS score8.10±1.3, postoperative24h,7days,3months,6months, VAS scores were:6.5±1.0,4.2±1.6,3.3±1.4,2.6±1.7; RF after the ablation group preoperative VAS score of8.4±1.0,24h,7days,3months,6months VAS scores were:5.9±1.2,2.4±1.1,1.7±0.9. The application of statistical analysis software the SPSS18.0analysis, comparison between groups using analysis of variance.Resultpeeling group:preoperative and postoperative time were different (P<0.05) after3months,6months after surgery no significant difference (P>0.05); RF Group of preoperative, intraoperativeafter24h, no significant difference (P>0.05); between the two groups:preoperative differences P>0.05, after periods were statistically significant (P>0.05).ConclusionThe disc atherectomy and radiofrequency ablation for lumbar disc herniation have good therapeutic effect, the former postoperative symptoms improved significantly more precise, the latter long-term effects.
