Objective:To observe the clinical effects of acupuncture treatment on motor aphasia after stroke around the anterior temporal line, study the mechanism of treating motor aphasia after stroke and find a more effective and convenient method of treating this disease.Methods:60patients met the inclusion criteria were divided into treatment group with30cases and control group with30cases by random digits table. Control group:17males and13females, mean age54.73±9.373(years), mean course of the disease2.10±13.345(days),24cases with cerebral infarction and6cases with cerebral hemorrhage treated with conventional drugs and acupuncture points; Treatment group:16males and14females, mean age55.27±8.013(years), mean course of the disease31.33±11.897(days),26cases with cerebral infarction and4cases with cerebral hemorrhage, mainly by acupuncture treatment around the anterior temporal line. Two groups were treated with acupuncture1time per day and left30min.1week was a course, with6days acupuncture and then one day rest, and4courses was needed in all. Compared with the score of ABC、CFCP、NIHSS before and after treatment, and judge clinical effects according to BDAE and ABC.Results:1. The two groups have significant differences in the score of ABC before and after the treatment (P<0.01); the treatment group has much better effects than the control group especially in oral expression, listening comprehension and repetition.2. Two groups’scores of CFCP have significant differences before and after the treatment (P<0.01), and treatment group can improve daily communication ability better than control group (P<0.05).3. Two groups’scores of NIHSS have significant differences (P<0.01), graded with NIHSS, and treatment group better improves the degree of neurologic impairment than control group (P<0.05). 4. After the treatment, the total effective rate is86.67%and80.00%respectively; with respect to severity of aphasia, there also significant differences exist, which shows the clinical effects are better in the treatment group than in the control groupConclusion:1. The acupuncture treatment on motor aphasia after stroke around anterior temporal line has significant effect in oral expression, listening comprehension, repetition and naming, and treatment group is significantly much better than control group especially in the respects of oral expression, listening comprehension, and repetition.2. The effect of acupuncture treatment on motor aphasia after stroke around the anterior temporal line in treatment group is significantly better than in control group on improving daily communication ability and the degree of neurologic impairment.3. The acupuncture treatment on motor aphasia after stroke around the anterior temporal line in treatment group has much better clinical effects than the control group and is worth spreading...
