Cancer is a disease of a serious threat to human health and life.Hospice care of cancer patients inot only has medical significance, moreethical significance, but also the concerns of social work. Previousresearch has focused theoretically discussed hospice care of cancerpatients, and focused on medicine, ethics, and lack of a practical pointof view and the perspective of the social work profession, the lack ofmulti-dimensional perspective, a mere formality. Therefore, thiscombination of theory, practice these two angles, the humanities andempirical method to explore the feasibility and significance of the socialwork involved in the hospice care of cancer patients as the theoreticalbasis of social support. Firstly, in the carding social support literatureon the basis of cancer patients, hospice social support is divided intofinancial support, psychological support, emotional support, and servicesupport for four dimensions. According to information obtained by thequestionnaires and interviews from these four dimensions of the problemsin cancer patients, hospice social work intervention from the concept ofthe multidisciplinary nature of social work, professionalism and improvethe living environment, according to the problem proved the feasibilityand necessity. Finally, this paper presents the suggestions of the socialwork hospice care of cancer patients.
