Objective This study is conducted the text of the Chronic sinusitis patients’nasal endoscopicsurgery perioperative clinical nursing pathway and to evaluate its clinical effects. Methods This research is performed in two consecutive phases. The first phase: designing andforming the written version/text and the clinical implementation process of the Nasal endoscopicaround the time of surgery by data collecting and analysing and patients interview. In the secondphase 100 cases were selected by convenience sampling and these patients were all conformed tothe chosen standards and agreed to take part in the research. The 50 patients hospitalized duringAugust to October of 2010 were studied as the controlled group, and the other 50 patientshospitalized during November of 2010 to January of 201 were as the experimental group. Themembers of two groups had no statistical difference in age, sex, preoperative symptoms (p>0.05).The controlled group was nursed in routine nursing care while the experimental group was inFESS-CNP. In order to judge the effects of the FESS-CNP, the clinical nursing quality such asthe cure rate, the complication accidental rate, the patients’cots and the days in hospital, thequality of life and the situation of anxiety were taken as the evaluation indexes. Results In the first part, the papers and implementing process of FESS-CNP were designed. The paper includs two parts, one is the patients’bascial imformation, the other is the form ofCNP. The CNP forms includes forms of 1~2 days pre-operation CNP (in the ward),inter-operational CNP form (in the operation room), and 4~6 daysafter-operational CNP (in theward). In the second phase, the experimental stage:Data analysing demonstrates that the anxietyof the experimental group members is significantly lower than controlled group(p<0.05), the fiveof the eights dimensions of quality of life are significantly higher than experimentalgroup(P<0.05) ,The three dimensions of the overall health, energy and social function before andafter the intervention are no significant differences(P>0.05), but equipartition is higher than thecontrolled group, the cure rate of the experimental group is higher than the experimentalcontrolled group(P<0.05),experimental group’s days in the hospital and the hospitalization costsare significantly shorter and lower than controlled group(P<0.05).Conclusion The CNP combined traditional nursing basis with the practical problems in workand in forms of interview can improve the clinical nursing quality, fast rehabilitation the patientswould cost less time in the hospital and paid less and also can promote the personal growth ofnurses It is easily manipulated and practical and can help to embody the characteristics of theprefessional nursing.
