Clinical Analysis In 108 Cases Of Chronic Sinusitis Treated By Endoscopic Sinusttis Surgery

Objective: To discuss the response of chronic sinusitis treated by endoscopic sinusitis surgery and the relationship between response and different clinical types.Methods:108 patients with chronic sinusitis were treated and they fit for the standard of the diagnosis before surgery and then they were treated by endoscopic surgery,the clinical effect was observed.Results:According to ESS-97 diagnose standard,77 cases were cured (71.3%)and 20 cases were improved (18.5%),11 cases had no effect(10.2%);there was significant statistical difference in cure rate between type1 and type3, type2 and type3(P < 0 .05 ); there was no significant statistical difference in cure rate between type1and type2(P > 0 .05 ).Conclusion: endoscopic sinusitis surgery was an effective method of curing chronic sinusitis, and the effect was relative to the clinical types.
