Research On Waiting Space’s Design Strategy Of Green Hospital

The topic selection of the paper is on the basis of the research in Beijing Key Laboratory of Green Building and Energy-efficiency Technology.With the promulgation of "Evaluation Standard for Greening Building" and "Development plan of Twelfth Five-Year’Green Building and the Green Eco-city", green building is becoming the hottest topic and an inevitable trend.Since the first comprehensive evaluation standard-"Evaluation Standard for Greening Building" was released in2011, China gradually carries out the architectural design of green hospitals, and raises new claims. Under the guidance of our country’s policy, between the "Twelfth Five-Year" periods, every new-built hospital project with government investment must implements the standard. Under this guidance, the waiting space comfort design will be highly improved.Waiting space is one of the most important components of the hospital, also it offers the first place for the patients to stay before visiting clinic, where patients cost40%of the total treatment time. While there exist some problems with our waiting space, so far, our country and not issued any instruction manual for specifications and design space design requests waiting, exploring the best to satisfy comfort design under the current evaluation standard plays an important role.This article from the perspective of green design study, the research methods used in this paper consists of literature research, field research, field testing, computer simulations and case comparison.The research process is divided into four steps, theoretical research, Survey, comparative analysis and reflection. The first method uses a theoretical literature study on the factors affecting the quality of the waiting room to do the analysis, namely, space capacity, spatial form, spatial organization and the impact of space environment on treatment, and two patients from a medical point of view and a Interpretation. Theoretical study is the reality research steps Survey part is this important theoretical support, through the hospital waiting room in Beijing and Singapore conducted a questionnaire survey method, instrument test method, a computer simulation of three methods, to understand the needs of patients as well as satisfaction with the current waiting room, and got the space environment test results. Comparative analysis step after that, using the case study method to conduct comparative analysis of research results, understand China and Singapore waiting spatial quality differences, a clear need for improvement. The final step is thinking, the study concluded that the above waiting space green design strategies.From the perspective of green design, green hospital waiting room design strategy research should focus more on the space environment research, but space capacity, spatial form and spatial organization also affect important spatial quality green spaces.
