The Study On Plant Landscape Visual Aesthetics Evaluation And Optimization Of Southwest University

Universities are the main place of imparting knowledge and educating people, as beautiful campus environment is nice and comfortable for learning, exploration and developing. Students in such beautiful environment can easily form aesthetic behaviors, aesthetic languages and aesthetic personality. Marx once said:"people create the environment, while the environment also creates people ". However, with the development of higher education in China and the expanding of universities campus scale, so many universities campus is facing huge problems such as reconstruction, expansion and other issues. The original environment of universities campus is on great impact indeed. Some beautiful campus became cramped and cluttered, especially some old campuses in China. The environment of some old campus has been unable to keep up with the requirement of development, so lots of functional, environmental and cultural problems appeared in such old campus. In particular, the monotonous landscape, repeated application of plants, seasonal changes of plants etc are the most apparent problems. It is so hard to meet the requirement of teachers and students for learning in a beautiful, safe, harmonious and aesthetic environment. Therefore, all the researches are focusing on how to create visual beauty and cultural beauty, ecological beauty and distinctive landscape plants.Through the development and construction of more than100years, the Southwest University has changed so much. Now, the existing campus environment has been unable to provide enough space for teaching and learning. The campus environment needs to be replanted and reconstructed. Based on this, this article is researching on the plant landscape visual aesthetic evaluation and optimal construction of the Southwest University campus.First of all, this article has carried on certain research and analysis for the theory and literature of the plant landscape and landscape evaluation, and laid a theoretical foundation for this study. After the analysis and comparison, using subjective evaluation and objective evaluation method to evaluate visual aesthetic for the plant landscape of Southwest University campus. Secondly, on the basis of field research, this article studied on the ornamental characteristics, seasonal changes, spatial hierarchy, cultural connotation of Southwest University campus plants landscape, as well as the typical regional campus plants configuration and other aspects are studied, and the effect of plant landscape formation analysis. Then using the AHP analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and questionnaire survey method, this paper evaluated the plants landscape of Southwest University from the subjective and objective aspects, obtained the influence factor of campus plants landscape visual effect and the satisfaction of the teachers and students on campus plants landscape. Finally, according to the result of subjective and objective evaluation, the paper analyzed the existing problems of plant landscape of Southwest University campus and optimized the construction way.In summary, through to the plant landscape evaluation research of the Southwest University campus obtained four results. The first is a wide variety of Southwest University campus plants, mainly evergreen species; ornamental plants for the concept flowers and concept-shaped plant, and the viewing period in spring and autumn, seasonal changes not rich; plant landscape level monotonic, space type single, lack of cultural connotation. Second is the Southwest University campus plants landscape aesthetic quality at secondary level, including the area before the school district, teaching and scientific research, living areas, motor areas and roads are Ⅱ level, only natural forest land belongs to the Ⅲ level; at the same time,from both adaptability evaluation index score results concluded that the evaluation of the growth of plants and plant with landscape coordination is higher, the evaluation of the seasonal changes of plant landscape and plant landscape cultural connotation is low, and different partitions different impact factors to the quality of plant landscape aesthetics. Third is through to the Southwest University campus plant landscape for subjective evaluation, summed up the teachers and students on campus plant landscape cultural connotation of evaluation is low, and the plant landscape evaluation with other landscape coordination is higher, which is basically consistent with objective evaluation of results, indicating that the consistent evaluation the general public and professionals. Fourth is comprehensive analysis of the evaluation results, summed up the problems existing in the Southwest University campus plants landscape, according to the natural and historical conditions of Southwest University itself, combined with theoretical knowledge such as ecology, garden aesthetics, plant landscape, proposed the optimization construction approaches of the Southwest University campus plant landscape from the overall planning, characteristic, ornamental, culture and other aspects, provided guidance for Southwest University campus plant landscape construction.Through subjective and objective evaluation on the Southwest University campus plants landscape, the paper established the campus plant landscape visual aesthetic evaluation model, put forward optimization approaches of the Southwest University campus plant landscape, had the practical significance of theoretical guidance for Southwest University campus plant landscape construction, as well as other similar to the campus plant landscape evaluation and optimization to provide certain reference and reference.
