The Evaluation Of The Landscape Plants In Shulinzhao Town Dalate

The urban landscaping is the main method of improving the quality of people’s life and ecological environment.It has multiple functions such as landscape, ecology and aesthetics.Investigation concerning about landscape plants in Dalate is really few.On the whole,it is at the stage of the beginning step. The species garden plant in Shulinzhao town about 32 whith was studied on the basis of urban green space and divide dalate Green into 4 kinds:Parks Green, Street Green, Residential Green and Municipal Attached Green. And evaluate the type, life form, source, ornamental features, application frequency about landscape plants in Shulinzhao town, Mainly research achievements are:(1) In this study, the results showed that there were 89 species of landscape plants (including varieties, the same below), belonging to 55 genera of 22 families in Shulinzhao town. There were 7 species of evergreen plants and 81 species of deciduous plants. There were 53 types of trees, belonging to 30 genera of 14 families and accounting for 60.23%. 20 types of shrubs, belonging to 17 genera of 9 families and accounting for 22.73%.13 types of cover plants, belonging to 12 genera of 11 families and accounting for 14.77%.2 types of vines, belonging to 2 genera of 1 families and accounting for 2.27%. Trees such as Pinus tabuliformis Carriere, Pinus sylvestris L.var. mongholica Litv., Picea asperata Mast., Sabina chinensis (L.) Ant, Sophora japonica Linn., Robinia pseudoacacia cv.idaho, Malus Halliana Koehne, Populus alba, Populus X hopeiensis Hu& Chow,Salix babylonica have been applied shrubs such as Syringa oblata Lindl., Amygdalus triloba (Lindl.) Ricker,Rosa rugosa Thunb, Forsythia suspensa (Thunb.) Vahl etc. have been applied; cover plants such as Sedum erythrostictum Miq., Poa annua L., Hemerocallis have been applied.(2) Diversity of ornamental charaeteristies of landscape Plants:There were 65 foliage Plants,15 Plants with ornamental leaf, belonging to 11 genera of 11 families and accounting for 17.05%,the main colour of leave in autumn was yellow.48 Plants with ornamental flowers, belonging to 29 genera of 14 families and accounting for 54.55%.The main colour was rad;24 fruit-effect Plants (ineluding 13 fruittrees),belonging to 14 genera of 7 families and accounting for 27.27%. There were 29 species of native plants,belonging to 20 genera of 10 families and accounting for 32.95%. There were 22 types of trees,3 types of shrubs,4types of cover plants,There were 59 species of introduced plants,accounting for 67.05%. There were 31 types of trees,18 types of shrubs,9 types of cover plants,2 types of vines.(3) It found that the plant species in Dalate,There are three conclusions of the plant species investigation in Suzhou gardens:1. To employ more native species, especially, the high-valued and appealing ones which can embody the style of shulinzhao.2. To use trees and bushes together to create a three-dimensional landscape.3. To use colorful-leaved species in city spaces.
