In order to accommodate the development of universities in the new century, it is very necessary and important to set up the campus environment which contains the beautiful surroundings, particular humanity feature, abundance history connotation and excellent ecology.The thesis based on extensively looking up the literatures, dissertated the development history of university in the homeland and abroad.At the same time, the thesis analysed the new demand on landscape environment of the university campus with the development of the period and reformation of university. And then, discussed the pertinent concept of plants landscape, the problems of university landscape and so on. Finally, put forward to the self viewpoint about the basal theory, basal principle, the design form, function nsubarea, landscape characteristic, landscape and humanity environment and so on.In the practical research part, the thesis utilize the example of the advanced academy of electron machinery of Pi county new school area in Chengdu to depict and analyze the landscape environment design very detailedly. Including the analysis of the spot current situation, the whole design ideas, the concrete design procedures and plants design and so on. The thesis accomplished the intact process from theory to practice, reached the corresponding research conclusion.
