Single-beam echo sounder is a kind of acoustic sounding equipment which takesadvantage of bottom reflection echo depth measurement;and it has a wide range ofapplication in the field of ocean exploration.Based on the design requirements of single-beam sounder system, the paper complete thedesign of the hardware circuit,include transmitter module, receiver module and digital signalprocessing module;the paper also write hardware-based software program, and gives thedesign process.The transmitter circuit uses a class D power amplifier, achieving the transmitter of highpower and high efficiency; The receiver circuit controlled amplifier AD602with the gaincontrol circuit of the receiving circuit of the automatic gain adjustment.The paper designedthe optocoupler isolation circuit between the receiver circuit and digital signal processingcircuit used to reduce the interference of the analog circuit noise on the digital circuit. Digitalsignal processing system use two C5509A digital signal processors to complete the real-timesignal processing and the control of the system. The article designed serial communicationcircuit and ethernet port communication circuit, in order to meet the communications needsin different circumstances. The system software was programed in CCS3.3environmentusing C language.This paper tests every module in the design process, the design of hardware systemsmeet the design requirements. The system is tested through the software program concludesthe hardware system can work properly.
