Multibeam Echo Sounder is an absolutely necessary seafloor mapping device with high efficiency and accuracy and resolution as well, which is widely used in such fields as seafloor resource exploration, seafloor environment survey, the safety assurance of underwater navigation, ocean engineering, shipside and port construction, the transportation above water, sea-route dredging and the survey of water resources in rivers along with banks and so on.The research is conducted over the multi-channel transmitter and receiver technology with high accuracy and high density and low noise based on the development of High Resolution Shallow Water Multibeam Echo Sounder, and a whole system which consists of the multibeam transmitter and receiver and power module is developed.Firstly the parameters and design methods are discussed with the research of the principle of Multibeam Echo Sounder and the hardware structure of High Resolution Shallow Water Multibeam Echo Sounder. After the detailed study of low noise in receiving system, a low-noise pre-amplifier is designed and an 80-channel receiver board is developed.Then, a new way of AGC and frequency conversion is designed. Plus, a GIC band-pass filter is tried and analyzed theoretically, and the target is achieved successfully through the experiment of channel phrase consistency in the 80-channel high density receiving system.Also, it is feasible to drive D class power amplifier with varied power directly by adopting the FPGA in the multi-channel phrase control transmitter.Besides, the system power board with high density is designed which uses the DC/DC module providing many kinds of power supplies, and the requirement of noise and ripple in power system is finally met by designing and debugging the related filter circuits. Lastly, the functions and parameters of the system prove to be excellent in the lake experiment after all the testing work done well.
