Research On Hip-Hop Style Fashion Design

The 21 st century, with the advent of the global information integration and the global popularity of hip-hop fashion, Hip-hop style dress become a fashion, and it is getting more and more people’s attention and love. It meets the pursuit of personalized apparel needs in modern society, also in line with a wide range of modern fashion design trends. Hip-hop style clothing through changes in their own development, not only promote changes in the modern clothing, but also doing a useful update on the aesthetic sense in traditional dress. It has played an active role in the diversification development of the entire garment industry. The research on hip-hop style fashion design is not yet perfect and very little relevant information; especially, its design characteristics and laws have not been summarized in detail. This thesis study is based on this development need, so research on hip-hop style clothing design has realistic meaning.This study first introduced and analyzed the background conditions of the current hip-hop clothing at home and abroad, also pointed out the gaps of the domestic hip-hop clothing in respect of design and markets; it laid the foundation of the hereafter presentation. Second, from the summary and review of the Hip-hop culture origin and development start to tease out the background and popular context, what follow is the essential analysis of hip-hop fashion pop and development, and then is the in-depth understanding of hip-hop fashion’s development and popular condition. The focus and innovation of this study are, from the design degree, the induction, consolidation and summary of its inherent design features and basic design rules such as shape, color, fabric, patterns, and accessories, summarized in which more universal laws and methods. Do appropriate and conscious supplement for the specific performance of domestic hip-hop fashion brand design. Besides, analysis foreign excellence hip-hop fashion brand Success case, learn the successful experience of foreign fashion design. View of the current status of China’s garment industry to explore the ways and means of localization hip-hop clothing design. Hope that this study can be attracting valuable opinions and effect to the development study of domestic hip-hop fashion design brand.
