Analysis And Design Of Futuristic Fashion Style

In the contemporary society with the rapid development of science, futurism hasbecome a prevalent trend widely used in design industry. Futurism is recommended bymore and more fashion desighers, so this type of style are filtering into people’sminds step by step. Futurism influences attire of people, meanwhile, the social andcultural life also affect the development of futursim style clothing. Futursim styleclothes which are different from “space style” in1960s present a brand new featureimproved by adding new technologies and materials to satisfy aesthetic values andapplied functions.This thesis with the combination of theory and practice can be divided into threeparts. From the explanation of futursim style to the defining issue of this style,formation，development and influence of futursim are discussed in the first part.At the same time, some prediction about this style is analysed from prevalent trendand current situation. The design elements about futurism are the points ofpenetration in order to analyse the embodiment of futurism in modern clothing designand summarize traits, style classification and principles of fashion designers inthe second part. The theory about futurism is put into practice with correspondingdesign principles and methods to accomplish futurism style clothes in the last part.
