Research And Appilication Of Rock Style In Fashion Design

The rock music was produced in the late 1940s, and it started to collide to the western people's vision with the subversive status in 1950s.And it was popular all of the world quickly. After the experiences for 60 years, the rock and roll have did not exist and develop just as a music form. It' s an art. It became a culture and an attitude to lead people to find the wonderful life. The influence of the rock music expanded gradually to the various fields with the development of the various social movements in the western country. In this situation, young people formed their own special aesthetic and values. So, the traditional clothing styles were discarded. The individuality and unconventional clothes instead of them. Clothing, which as the outer manifestation, was charged with the emotion and the spirit of rock,and it was the most intuitive expression tools of the inner rock music. As same as the rock,it was affected from the social backgrounds and the living environments of the different performance styles. Therefore, the rock style homeopathy and health.From the perspective of the human history of the clothing style of dress change we can find that the changes of clothing styles are the twofold results of material and spiritual application, what it reflects is the social politics, economy and culture. Since the 90 s and 1960 s,western young people under several times to break the traditional cultural movement, rock and roll style clothing with bottom-up attitude from "non-mainstream"astonishing "edge" on the bridge of the fashion. My graduation design select the heavy metal rock style, with black Sabbath band's song "God is dead" creation for inspiration for design.Based on the research of the rock culture and rock style clothing, combined with design, I know the rock style deeply and systematically. At the same time the research provided the culture connotation and more creativities for the applications in the field of rock and roll style in the clothing.
