In the last few years, the constructions of meteorological observation station network and the observation items have developed rapidly. There are numbering tens of thousands of meteorological stations include ground stations, radar stations, upper-air stations, space weather stations, acid rain stations, agrometeorological stations, composition of atmosphere stations, GPS/MET station, subordinate stations and soil moisture station, in addition, the functions of these meteorological observation station become richer and the number of multifunction stations, so realizing visualization management of mereorological stations constitutes our most urgent problem. In this paper, studying and analyzing recent needs of management of meteorological observation stations, and a meteorological observation stations visual system is designed with the B/S structure build system and the open source WebGIS layout, developed by using Flex, Jsp and Applet technology. The major work and conclusions of present paper are asl:①Realizing Visualization Management of the national meteorological stations for the first time. The IMS Realizes Visualization Management of the national meteorological stations for the first time, which change the condition that we can only check the station information in text format from the relational DB.The system realizes displaying of stations in multi direction and varieties of formats, and fully meets the current needs on integrated, efficient and accurate management of the meteorology observation system, which improves the management of the integrated meteorological observation comprehensively.②Integrated methords management of mass muti-source databases. It is impossible to realize integrated management of mass multi-source databases relevant to stations information before this paper. This paper bring about centralized management of stations information by applying large spatial database to solve the problem of isolated information, the integrated information includes text, spatial position, picture, video, remote sensing image, meteorological distributed information.③Implementing of abundant users interfaces by using Flex. The great virtue of Flex is very rich user interface behave way, resembling desktop App, and rich in figure content, user interface of the management system take full consideration meteorologists habits, bring on intuitive and higher lever user-experience.
