As an important tool of human resource management, performance management has great impact on company development. In some ways, enterprise management is the management on performance. To establish a set of scientific performance management system is the inexorable selection of cultivating key competitiveness for enterprises and achieving sustainable competitive advantage.Under the background of market high speed development, Multinational Corporations are stepping into China and bring in the performance management system. But some companies faced problems on performance management operation and implementation, which result in performance management, become a mere formality and leave performance management in an embarrassing situation, and even may cause brain drain.Based on the review the research of motivation and management by object theory, this article starts with current status and character of M company and makes a deep analysis on the existing issues. The article systematically concludes the major cause of affecting company performance management efficiency; including company culture factor, performance management system factor, management concept factor and skill factor, etc. Company needs improve the current performance management system against all the finding, establish scientific KPIs and comprehensively take advantage of performance appraisal tool, establish competency model and effective feedback channel, and effectively link the performance result with other modules of human resource management, finally complete the improvement of performance management for M company.During the study of company performance management scheme, analyze and solve the problems occurred in the process of performance management, and based on the integration of theory and reality, finally establish the feasible system which is suitable for the company situation. Hope this system makes positive impact towards employees performance improvement, talent development and retention, and then company performance improvement, company's market competitiveness improvement.
