With the fast development of market economy,China’s market policy is getting mature gradually,and Every company in modern society faces the keen competition.Our enterprises have gradually realized the importance of advanced management methods for the development of enterprises.However,the key concept of model management is the management of human resource.therefore, the human resource management takes an important role in the model management.And the management of performance is the most important work for human resource management. An effective performance management system can assist the company to encourage employee behavior,increase their enthusiasm and business performance. Major companies have been concerned about issues related to the research and development of performance management.They aims to establish an effective performance management system to mobilize the enthusiasm and creativity of employees and improve the initiative and enthusiasm of work,and ultimately increase the value of the business.However,different companies should establish different performance management system, which can not be stereotyped.or it would be counterproductive.In this kind of situation, this paper analyzes the research of firm’s performance management both in china and foreign countries.A typical case of Anhui electric power maintenance company is discussed in the paper,the case is studied from the development and problems of the firm’s performance management.And then,analyse the current situation of the corporate performance management, problems and the cause of the problem.At last,some suggestions are presented to help Anhui electric power maintenance company to design and make use of performance management.
