With the rapid development of the science and technology, the competition between enterprises becomes more and more fierce. In order to get a sustainable and steady development in today's inherently vulnerable market environment, it is essential for enterprises in China to conscientiously enhance the ability of despondence with pragmatic and flexible measures to competition. And every enterprise needs to make rational decisions according to suitable competitive intelligence which can help enterprise to deal with formidable operating environment.Although it is an inevitable trend that competitive intelligence is attached great importance by gradually more enterprises, open intelligence and information resource is quite very limited in China. Thus, in such circumstances, it is of profound theoretical and practical significance to study on how enterprises in China obtain essential decision-making competitive intelligence and information in ways of Chinese guanxi.Firstly, the thesis introduces the basic concept of competitive intelligence and Chinese guanxi, summarizes domestic and foreign research results on competitive intelligence and Chinese guanxi, and also clarifies several conceptions discussed in this thesis. Then, combining with traditional exchange theory, the thesis analyzes channels of competitive intelligence's transmission and collection, explores the relationship between guanxi and competitive intelligence collection. To a great extent, production and transmission of competitive intelligence adhere to the establishment process of interenterprise relationship, and establishment of interenterprise relationship rely on staff. To put it more accurately, competitive intelligence collection is of adherence to he process of guanxi establishment. Then, the thesis makes up a model of general purpose for intelligence collection based on guanxi, and the process how enterprises establish relationship with customers and staff, build channels of competitive intelligence transmission are analyzed emphatically. At last, when obtaining intelligence by means of guanxi, problems demanded full attention and guarantee mechanism needed to be established are pointed out through a comprehensive case analysis.This dissertation, on the premise that western management methods are taken into account , try hard to innovate to some extent, analyses Chinese human nature through the methods of sociology and psychology, summarize main competitive intelligence obtaining ways with Chinese characteristics for the purpose of getting some lessons and enlightenments on localization of Chinese-style management.
