Research On Integrated Operation Model And Development Strategy Of Car Rental Company

Automobile rental development in a country or city is of special significance in saving social resources, promoting environment protection, energy saving and emission reduction. Furthermore, car rental development promotes the development of relative industries while it provides tremendous employment chances, which tends to produce a great impact on social and economic benefits. However, automobile rental which is in an initial stage in China has a large gap with the developed country, as relative laws and regulations, operation models and development environment was needed to be completed and improved.Strategic management that a business or organization establishes global and long-term strategic development direction, goals and policies, including decisions-making and managerial skills for resource allocation, which was widely used in modern management, industry development and business operation.Based on the relative research literature, this paper begins with describing the concept, classification and features of automobile rental, the development course and implementation procedures of SM theory included. Secondly, some crucial issues were analyzed, such as buy-back contract, joint operation allocation, the number and transferring of automobile fleet. Then, after analyzing the status of software and hardware construction and integrated operational model concerning Topone Car Rental, its integrated operational model was rebuilt. Lastly, with PESTEL and Porter's five forces model, the business environment of Topone Car Rental was analyzed. Moreover, external environment was evaluated and studied through EFE and IFE to find the advantages, disadvantages, opportunities and threats. Finally, SWOT analysis model concludes that the enhanced development strategy on SO is supposed to adopted by the Topone Car Rental, which was illustrated in detail.Based on SM, integrated operation model and development strategy in future are studied to put forward new views and measures which are of great practical application value for the Topone Car Rental.
