Research And Design On The Monitoring And Management System Of Huaibei Electric Power Communication

Under decades of years'construction, the Huaibei Electric power corporation has formed a huge telecommunication network, and now has built the PSTN, fiber transportation network, data communication network, and supporting networks, etc. Along with the electric power communications network rapid development, Electric power communications network maintenance and supervisory work faced with very big challenge. The electric power corporation's communication management department urgent needs to construct the electric power communications network comprehensive monitor and management system to carry on the centralism monitoring and the unification management in the unified platform to all communication facility as well as the room environment.on the analysis of the existing problems of Huaibei Electric power communication monitor and management system (MMS), and on the comparison of today's network management technology and popular network management protocols, the building program of new Huaibei Electric power communication MMS has been proposed, the proposed program conducts a comprehensive analysis of the MMS architecture, software platform, hardware platform construction. This design system includes centralized monitoring functional module, data acquisition functional module and management functional module. For the design of the software platform, an overall hierarchical model has been given, and the data flow of the whole system has been analyzed. For the design of the hardware platform, the model selection and their main function of the equipments such as network switch, database server, disk array, and front-end equipment have been introduced, furthermore, the access methods of types of equipments have been analyzed in detail. Practice has proved that the application of the designed system works well, and achieve the basic realization of the target.
