Electricity software is a special software, with the growing demand for electricity, its technical renovation and maintenance is becoming bigger and bigger. The social benefits of electric power maintenance and technical transformation project are huge, but difficult to carry on the quantitative analysis, through the electric power information and technical design system, we can improve the reliability of power system, reduce the possibility of emergency events, and save a huge economic loss for the national economy.The reliability is an important characteristics of software. Model-driven architecture takes model buildings as objects, model transformation as the key operations, and maps the models into the specific area engineering, so as to improve the efficiency of software development, software quality and its reliability. The emergence of model-driven development greatly eases the software crisis. The jin-yun xue academic group independently researches and develops PAR method and PAR platform, can effectively solve the reliability of the software and its development efficiency.Automatic program transformation is an important part of PAR theory, by the model transformation tools, such as the Apla to C++, Apla to Java,which can transform Apla modeling language into an executable target language, and conversion tools have mathematical tools as the theoretical basis, therefore, it can guarantee the reliability of the application programs and development efficiency. If we use the idea of MDA and related technology in system development, developers scan focus on the designs of business functionality rather than the implementation of the codes.Designing and developing an electric power technical renovation and maintenance software is the paper’s mainly work, Using the model-driven development based on PAR platform and the transformation framework to design and implement the system functions. System implementations mainly includes two parts:(1) business modeling, using the PAR modeling language Apla to describe system functions and reflect the platform independent model of the system requirements;(2) model transformation, by the model transformation tools, we can convert the platform independent model of system into equivalent and related model, finally we can get the code implementations of the system. The innovations of the paper are as follows: Using the model-driven software development thought into the systemdevelopment, and make full use of the thought contained in the PAR platform. PAR method and its conversion tool is applied to the design power systemsoftware, we can expand the PAR applications in actual development.System interface design based on PAR platform development is studied in thispaper.
