The improvement of semi-conductor, communication and computer technique, has promoted the produce and development of wireless sensor network (WSN) technical rapidly. WSN connects the physical information with transmission network, provides direct, valid and factual info. Its great latent value in military affairs, industry and agriculture control, medical treatment, enviroment monitor and family nursing, etc, attracts many countyies and research institutions.This article analyzed deep all modules' function characteristics and performance requirement of the WSN node, put emphasis on reseaching and realizing project for hardware platform, circuit figures and the modules' work principle. In the process of implementation, it investigated that the voltage's tranquilization could restrict the value of received signal strength indicator (RSSI), and settled the matter that the limit of carrier sense can't be confirmed because of unfirm voltage. After debugged the nodes successfully, use them to the item, sensor network works steadily and credibly.Moreover, sensor node's application environment and network's work characteristic determine that node must pay attention to low-power design. Considered such instance, the article has studied systemly low-power theories and design methods, schemed out a low-power project of node. Then, it analyzed the project quantificationally. The experiment shows that the measure of low-power design is remarkable.
