With the high speed development of the science and technology in the21st century, a variety of energy increasingly exhausted, and the earth which human lived is under threat. Human are in desperate need of a clean, energy efficiency, renewable energy and new solar is accord with human needs a new economic energy, solar energy is accord with human needs。 However, the solar energy distribution is not stable, radiation time will be influenced by weather. It may difficult to effectively use of solar energy. The automatic tracking device of Photovoltaic concentrator could be a good choice.According to the principle of cpv power, this paper analyzes the the advantages, and make a comparison of several tracking scheme and mechanical actuators and then choose the best one.This paper analyzed the law of the sun, compared the current tracking methods, and then choose the sun trajectory tracking mode, dual axles control system which guarantee the veracity about tracking sun.Through the implementation of functional analysis of control system, the thesis completed hardware and software design of the tracking device. Include:PLC interface circuit design, control and implementation component design and the software design of sun trajectory tracking module. The tracking system test equipment manufacture is completed. In addition, this paper designs the SQL Server database program code of the control system, and introduces attribute and parameter information of the database tables, the use of the database ensure the reliability of the system operation. The experimental results showed that, the system could fully realize the tracking of the sun.In this paper, the designs of photovoltaic automatic tracking device have simple structure, low cost and stable operation. The device can be widely applied to grid and off-grid PV power system.
