In past few decades, power systems have being widely used traditional forms. With the development of social economic in recent years, there is being a lot of social problems, such as large-scale blackouts, energy crisis and environment pollution. People began to turn to research on Micro-grid. Micro-grid has variety of energy forms based on new energy. As Solar is the cleanest and most realistic renewable energy. It attracts worldwide attentions. Solar will become important in micro-grid power. Virtual reality technology is a computer simulation technique which has being widely used in recent years. The technology uses a natural way to achieve natural interaction with things in virtual environment and achieves the purpose of human-computer interaction. This paper introduces the overall structure of the research on micro-grid solar photovoltaic systems in virtual reality. Then it uses the virtual reality modeling tool-3DS max and virtual reality modeling language-VRML to achieve the virtual reality virtual scene of micro-grid solar photovoltaic power generation. It shows the entire process of solar photovoltaic power generation with three-dimensional interface. It fully demonstrates the virtual reality human-computer interaction. Then it uses simulation tools of MATLAB and SIMULINK to achieve the simulation of solar power system. Finally it uses computer control technology to achieve the control of micro-grid solar photovoltaic systems. Thereby it ensures reliable link of micro-grid and large grid. The topic is of great significance for remote automation control of photovoltaic devices in the micro-grid solar photovoltaic power generation system. It also signifies automate the optimization and control of energy management. It has important research value for reliability and security of supply.
