As our country progresses, the mobile communication company's business is also growing. It's undoubtedly very important to improve and strengthen local communication environment of nearby waters and remote areas. However, these local electricity supplies are poor or even no electricity supply, how to supply the power of these base stations is a big challenge. Solar power system's energy almost entirely comes from the pollution-free solar energy. Using an independent photovoltaic system as a base station power, we needn't to pay additional costs in addition to the one-time investment cost of equipment and maintenance costs. It will resolve the power issue, also strongly advocated by the national energy saving policy.This paper takes the solar power station as the research object. It analyzes the composition of the independence solar PV system and discusses the power requirements, the capacity design principles and methods of mobile base station. Then it simulates the solar cell array in the MATLAB software in order to better understand its output characteristics, because it thinks this as a key component of the whole PV system. The article consists of four parts. The first part reviews the domestic and international status of the construction of photovoltaic power generation system. The second part discusses the four main components of the solar power system, which are the solar modules, the batteries, the power electronics controller and the inverter. It describes the working principle, the device types and the performance requirements of each component. The article's third part studies the requirements of the solar power station. It analyzes the power requirements and the load composition of mobile base stations, and introduces the capacity design principles and methods of the solar cell and battery, and then it designs a specific case for a tourist attraction in Henan Province. The fourth part of the paper simulates the important component of the whole PV system. Under the MATLAB simulation tool, it establishes a simulation model of photovoltaic cells, simulates the solar cell with the parameters in the selected case, and draws conclusion as the reference when the system is running.
