Along with the rapid development of scientific technology, embedded system technology won wide development space, embedded equipment greatly promoted the rapid development of all walks of life. In recent years, along with the people of real-time information dependence, some mobile imbedding equipment constantly emerging, such as smart phones, MID, flat computer, etc. But in many mobile imbedding equipment, the mobile embedded operating system is an indispensable part. the Windows Mobile is Mobile operating system for handheld devices is named " Windows for the mobile edition " by the Microsoft. Windows Mobile has good user interface, rich modular components, multitasking and strong communication ability, etc.In many areas of the embedded system is a wide range of applications.The present paper was finished in the company during doing the project, so the summarized some experiences work. In the paper, the content of theory with practice, to based on ARM platform of Windows Mobile operating system application were studied and analyzed, embedded mobile terminal system design scheme and the communication pattern applied in 3G network terminal equipment is given out, software realization of the whole design was also completed. In the concrete design, serial port and USB,dual ports communication,was adopted,the drive to wireless modual is finished,the basic function such as calling,short message service,Internet service,phone book was achieved. meaningful research and development was taken in the cellcore modual in the Windows Mobile Operation system,especially the RIL part function, in the same time, aim at actual application, analyse and design the process that to use SD card update automatically system and functional implementation.The completion of the MID project and related functions implementation, also proved for Embedded Mobile Terminal system design is reasonable, effective and feasible. Paper in the application of Windows Mobile operating system has some reference value.
