Along with the greatest development of mobile communication in China, the market enlarges towards mobile terminal of need day by day, but China have product extremely minute of the ambulation terminal of independent intelligent property right,which resulted to the performance of mobile phone produced by domestic manufacturer is ordinary and its cost is higher than that of the foreign manufacturers, which goes against the development of domestic manufacturer. So, it is the most urgent affairs to develop mobile terminal products which can fit the habit of users and have our owner intellectual property.Man-Machine Interface of mobile terminal is the most fundamental and import module in software system. And also it is one of symbols which stand for the competence directly. Since MMI is a bridge between users and mobile phone, the design of modules in MMI has import influences not only on the users but also on the robustness,stability and portability of system.In the thesis, key techniques in MMI base on the embeded system have been researched. The mobile phone MMI software systematic structure of the Skyworks platform are designed and implemented. The main work as follows:firstly, the software systematic structure of the Skyworks platform and organization of MMI are discussed; Then the main module of Graphic User Interface such as message-driven mechanism,window management, are designed and implemented; UI system is improved and base on the system the controls such as menu, softkey, caption are implemented; Last, the MMI application of phonebook and calllog are designed and implemented base on the improved Skyworks platform.
