The Mobile Identity Query System Based On The Wi-Fi And Rfid—The Design Of Mobile Terminal

With the development of information technology and the coming of internet of things era, it has been widely used in more and more places where the identity recognition terminals are necessary, but most of the current query terminals offer the service of the identity query by fixed equipments, which not only cost large investment but also have defects in the inconvenience of installation and use etc. The mobile terminal of identity query system based on the Wi-Fi and RFID takes RFID new technology. At the same time, by the Wi-Fi wireless network, it can exchange data with a database in a remote server.The features are low cost, low power consumption, no wiring, easy to use and so on. Therefore, the researches on the mobile identity query system based on the Wi-Fi and RFID terminals hold great significance.The hardware of mobile identity query terminal mainly adopts the products of the company of the Friendly Arm.They are the mini2440development board and the S3C2440processor. The hardware of the system comprises a server (PC), a portable wireless terminal, the wireless network access point (AP wireless router), which provide basic equipment support for a wireless identity query system. The software system includes management software running on the server and identity query software running on a terminal. The Wi-Fi wireless local area network that is built by wireless router as a center provides a communication channel for data transmission. The data transmission works in ISM band of2.4GHZ. The server in the whole system has access to network by cable, while terminal by wireless access. By the combination of network technology, database programming technology, human-machine interface, we have developed the application software on the server and the terminals, and finally realized a mobile identity query system based on Wi-Fi and RFID.The RFID are described in detail in this passage, and focuses on the description of the process that how to use Qt/Embedded to develop GUI and test the holistic system. Finally it realizes the function of number inputting, display, query, remote transmission and information display on a identity of mobile query terminal.
