RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) is an automatic identification technology,which introduces the Large Scale Integrated circuit, identification and computercommunication technology. It is mainly made up of reader and tag. By the carrier,data can be duplex transported contactlessly between reader and tag. Because of itsmany advantages such as contactless, suitable for bad environment,non-contaminative and efficient recognizing ability, RFID technology has an abroadapplication foreground in industry, storehouse, vehicle identification, traffic transportmanagement and other fields.Based on the theory of RFID, a new application mode is devised: Combine theRFID technology with portable smart device, such as Pocket PC. In this system, theportable device acts as the carrier of RFID module which is used for collectinginformation; after encrypting by SDIO card, the information will be transported toback data-base through wireless network. As a result of this, the real-collect,real-dispose and real-transport of information can be realized. The terminal unit usedas system fiat roof has Windows Mobile 5.0 OS, with the characteristic of functionexpendable as well as the support of usage of the third-party software based onWinCE. This design can be worked under the situation of using ContactlessIntegrated Circuit Card to storage data and need information to be feedback. Forinstance, inquire about distribution of commodities, traffic inspect and identityauthentication.The realization of the whole system is as belows: design a RFID readercomposed by reader IC of S6700 and MCU of MSP430F149, the RFID moduleworks at frequency of 13.56MHz and is placed in the portable device battery coverwith the antenna printed on IC board according to a conducting wire manner; adoptthe idea of GPIO simulation to produce SPI timings to drive S6700, overcoming theshortcoming of general MCU SPI port; analyze the RFID system communicationprotocol ISO/IEC15693 and explain the instructions along with how they work;introduce the theory of CRC and how it is carried out; develop the COM communication program at the base of embedded OS; use fit linker to join the RFIDmodule to intelligent mobile terminal and illuminate the flow chart of applicationprograms; analyze the security of whole system and propose the method to solve.Both the design and simple achieve the requiring of practicality.
