In recent years, with the development of global service-outsourcing market, service-outsourcing industry in China has a rapid growth. Service-outsourcing as a strategic economic measure obtains a strong support from our country. Software-outsourcing as the main part of service outsourcing has been restricted by the talent bottleneck. Research on knowledge architecture has lagged far behind. So, carrying out the corresponding research has become an urgent task of the domestic industry and academia, and has a important theoretical guidance value and practical significance.CDIO as a new training mode in the reform of international higher engineering education provides an effective way for professional training. According to the CDIO engineering education philosophy, this paper researches the knowledge architecture from different classification. First of all, this paper analyzes the basical theoreties of the knowledge architecture from three aspects:(1) CDIO and knowledge architecture. The analysis showed that both of them have a higher fit in the content, functionality, and implementation.CDIO provides a theoretical guidance for the construction of knowledge architecture.(2) Knowledge demand and knowledge architecture. Through research on the competition, the pilot universities and literature, this paper analysis the characteristics of the talent demand towards Japan and the European and American software-outsourcing and the status of talents training.(3) Educational theory and knowledge architecture. The knowledge demand was classified according to Bloom's knowledge classification theory, and was organized and structured according to cognition assimilation theory. Based on the above analysis, this paper references knowledge system and the education standard which were approved by international educational circles and the industrial field, and then constructed a "1+N" knowledge architecture integrated CDIO.The module designs the knowledge architecture according to the difference in the geographical, cultural and business fields. The "1" represents common knowledge platform which contains in common among different domains. It contains software outsourcing fundamental knowledge, software-outsourcing engineering service, software-outsourcing application and service and knowledge, technology and quality of the software-outsourcing industry and so on; The "N" represents characteristics knowledge module which contains the different demand of regions, culture and business domains, for example, the module for Japan, Korea, European and American and the domains for ITO, BPO and KPO. On the basis of the differences on domains, this paper research ITO of Japan, European and American from different aspects. This paper analysis the characteristic and the application to finance, animation and embedded type and so on from three aspects of service demand, mainstream technology and language culture, and designs two characteristics knowledge modules from three aspects of the knowledge field, knowledge unit, and knowledge point, and describes the knowledge-requirement for master degree according to Bloom's taxonomy of educational objectives.
