With the rapid development of Internet, today's network data flow rapid inflation,each network node increasing pressure when they processing data, in order to adapt thisrapid growth of data, multi-core processor emerge as the times require, the multi-coreprocessor platform provides high performance, low power consumption, it's a flexiblecontrol and data processing platform. In this vast network time, network managementsystem development also needs to keep pace with the times, and to provide performance,more powerful, more convenient in network management system.Because of that we developed a network management system which is based onmulti-core processor. In the embedded development platform the network managementsystem we can make to manage the user, equipment, safety certification and theperformance, more important is that in multi-core processor platform we can operationmanagement system and processing data in the same time, we can better use the multi-coreplatform which have a powerful performance to manage the network and the data control.We develop a network management system which is a combine of a variety oftechnology, which includes a command line management and SNMP, while our frameworkis a distributed management system, through the WEB interface can be directlymanagement network system. Through analysis of the hardware platform, thecorresponding development of software, and then through the experiments and tests, toobtain a final management system.This paper first analyzes the feasibility and advantage of development the networkmanagement system on multi-core processor platform, then we analysis of the demand, andthen we have a overall structural design. The system is the implementation of the modulardesign, each module independently, interface is relatively simple, each module linkedthrough the interface module, each module have high cohesion, low coupling, so that thewhole system easier to maintenance and upgrade. After the design completed then wedevelop the system, in this paper, the development process is described, followed bysystem verification. Finally, through the system test, confirmed that we achieved that a networkmanagement system based on multi-core processor platform, it can be a better managementnetwork system, and execute to the monitoring of network equipment and usermanagement, at the same time as the research of network management system for openingup a new field, provides a new train of thought.
