The Security Architecture And Applications Of Public Wireless Local Area Network

Along with the rapid development of network technology, Public Wireless Local Area Network (PWLAN) has become a popular research topic. The endless enlargement and complication of network size make people get to know the importance of network management more and more, the propriety network management can make the powerful function of network be sufficiently used. This dissertation, as a part of National High Technology Research and Development Program of China"the security architecture and applications of PWLAN"mainly focuses on the research of network management technology based on web.At the beginning, the dissertation introduces the standard and characteristic of PWLAN, and its dynamic development.then we review the design principle on network management system, and introduce its technology background, system framework, exploitation environment, compatibility, and interface etc..In the second part, we research the design idea based on client agent, and its main function along with the material design of command.In the third part, we research the design idea based on Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) agent, and introduce the conception of SNMP agent module, First-In First-Out(FIFO) piping interface module, access point(AP)/access control(AC) scan module, MYSQL database interface module, receive trap module etc..Finally, after a brief introduces of the basic concept, realization scheme, key technologies of web based network management system, and further more, we complete the basic subsystem, interface subsystem, configuration subsystem, control subsystem, superintending and measurement subsystem, malfunction subsystem, information subsystem, and agent subsystem etc.
