The Design And Implementation Of Configuration Management For Data Gather System

With the increasing development of network technology, Internet has become an indispensable part of people's life. It provides people with much more conveniences, in the fields of work, study, entertainment, etc. However, it also brings seriously negative influence, for example, baleful attack from hacker, computer virus infection, illegal information spread and so on. Therefore, network security has become an important topic that people discuss and concern.Data Gather System, which is applied to the backbone optical network, can capture POS data from the backbone optical network, and then analyze, filter and transmit it. We can securely monitor and manage data packets on network on the basis of the analyzed results of packet analysis system.We have designed and implemented the key section of Data Gather System software, i.e. Configuration Management Subsystem. Its mainly function is setup and manage configuration rule command of Data Gather System.In this thesis, we discuss the model design of subsystem, and analyze the related function and performance requirements of subsystem, and then show the realization of the key techniques of subsystem, including configuration management by Command Dynamic Configuration Tree algorithm, analysis handling of command by batch handling algorithm of compound command and so forth. All configuration rule commands being run in the current system are organized and managed by Command Dynamic Configuration Tree. We can rapidly append, rewrite and delete command by means of search command in the tree. Furthermore, we can also execute dynamic control of configuration rule command by Remote Procedure Call protocol.Finally, we summarize the test result of the related function, performance and consistency of Data Gather System. The results show that running performances of the whole system had gained highly improvement.
