Research Of Manufacturing Enterprise Sales Management Collaborative Platform Based On PDM

With the market competition and the development of computer communication technology, the development cycle of manufacturing product is gradually shortened. Market is constantly changing so that the sales department need respond to market changes quickly. Technologies such as CAD, CAM are widely used and it causes a large amount of information. Each unit of the computer-aided technology has become more sophisticated, but self-contained product information couldn't be shared among sales, technology and manufacturing departments, which causes "Information Island". Besides, there is a large number of parallel and serial workflow in the sales department that needs to work together with other departments. The traditional business process mode has low efficiency and long life cycle. It extends the product life cycle virtually and causes the sales department's slow response to market demands.Therefore, building a sales management collaboration platform is the key to manufacturing enterprise informatization. It not only satisfies the order processing, statistical analysis and other basic sales management function but also provides the platform for multiple departments to work together. With the use of computers, manufacturing enterprises could handle the workflow automatically and reduce the drawbacks of traditional business process mode, which integrates sales with production and logistics, and improves information sharing.On the basis of enterprise informatization status, this paper will build the manufacturing enterprise sales management collaboration platform based on PDM. Firstly, the product data management theory and its workflow management process are reviewed, which lays the theoretical foundation for later study; Secondly, describe the sales management business informatization in detail and propose to use PDM technology into the construction of the manufacturing enterprises sales management collaboration platform; Finally, build the sales management collaboration platform with the use of object-oriented technology to share information and provide a collaboration platform for sales department and other departments. With a new perspective, this paper builds the manufacturing enterprise sales management collaboration platform from the point of product data and workflow management. The product life cycle ideology, document management, rights management and workflow management in PDM are used to guide the system building, which provides a new research idea for the manufacturing enterprise sales management informatization.
