With the accelerating rhythm of life and the increasing requirements for life quality, people need to master the information about their body by an easy and quick way at any time. This demand will gradually be met, owing to the development of short-distance wireless communication technology with low power consumption and the embedded system on chip. Wireless Body Area Network is a kind of network which can sense all kinds of information about body by wearable sensor devices or the body sensors implanted into human body, and it will access networks in a wireless way, then transmit and process the collected information.Based on the analysis and study of the related theories and typical applications of low-power wireless body domain network, a wireless monitoring system of a physiological parameters based on Android is designed and implemented in this thesis. Firstly, this thesis specifies the designs of the physical parameters sensor node used for collecting the original physiological signals and illustrates the conditioning circuit for corresponding signals. Secondly, based on the analysis of the characteristics of Bluetooth Low Energy technology and the BLE protocol stack, this thesis puts forward the method of communication module design, with Bluetooth 4.0 as the short distance communication way and the chip CC2541 as the core, and implements the module on the hardware and software. Aiming at the low-power demand of the Wireless Body Area Network, this thesis provides the relevant solutions of energy saving and puts forward a kind of Power Solution with the energy generated by human movements. Finally, the software is developed on the Android platform and the data acquisition node of the physiological information is realized, which provides the visual interface for real-time display and interactive control of the data. What’s more, it can send the collected data to the remote server for storing, processing and analyzing.The applying of low-power Bluetooth technology to Wireless Body Area Network physiological parameters monitoring system gives it advantages in power consumption, flexibility, scalability and market outlook, with higher application value. At the same time, it is expected to works as a guideline for the design of the portable medical device and the realization of remote diagnosis and treatment in the future.
