Daxinganling Region Forestry Information Inquiry System Based On Webgis Design And Implementation

Daxinganling is a city with rich forest resources. In order to fullly excavate the potential of urban forestry resources, and promote the construction of digital forestry, it is necessary to develop the WebGIS–based Daxinganling Forestry information inquiry system. This system can help to improve the standard of Daxinganling forestry information services and management, and provide backup for the digital forestry construction of Daxinganling.Based on computer network technology, network geographic information technology and ArcIMS, the paper explores the construction of web-based geographic information system for the purpose of achieving the digitization and networking of the geographic information resources management.Using the Daxinganling vectorization phase diagram as the data sources, according to the requirements of software engineering principles and methods, making use of information management system the author uses ArcMap and ArcIMS tools to research and design the Daxinganling forestry information inquiry system in order to facilitate the users.In the construction of the system, The paper conducts systematic research from the following aspects:Firstly, the paper analyzes the key technologies needed in the development process, and does theoretical research in detail thoroughly. Meanwhile the author elaborates theoretical basis and technical analysis of WebGIS, digital forestry technology, ArcIMS technology and so on.Secondly, based on the current status of Daxinganling forest resources ,the author conducts a comprehensive analysis of the system demand from the aspects of user requirements, functional requirements, performance requirements, data requirements and interface needs. Moreover, the author ensures the design and development environment of the Daxinganling forestry information inquiry system, analyzes the organization of the data, build database for it, and does the detailed design guidance for the follow-up system. Finally, after the analysis of requirements and functions, considering the specific situation of the Daxinganling forest resources, the author designed WebGIS-based Daxinganling forestry information inquiry system function modules including the basic operation module , spatial analysis module of maps, spatial location inquiry module , function modules of the data preview and output and so on. The author tested the system roundly then amended the flaws.The design and implementation of WebGIS-based Daxinganling forestry information inquiry system is the application of WebGIS technology in forestry. It deepened the forest resource management information system, and is a measure of the management and decision-making of Daxinganling forestry. The system provides motive for the forestry development, management, planning and construction in the region and can serve Daxinganling forestry industry construction better.
