With the rapid development of society and economy, the library cause in Hubei province has made unprecedented progress, generated a tremendous role in promoting the development of science, education and culture in the province. But as an important part of social information services, public and university libraries in Hubei are not currently in a state of balance. Along with the introduction of the Information Ecology into the library, the research of information ecosystem balance provides a new way of thinking the relationship between Information person and information environment in libraries.Starting from this perspective, on the basis of investigate and survey, this paper discusses the information ecosystem balance situations of public and university libraries in Hubei, analyses the existing imbalances, and thus puts forward optimization strategies and recommendations of the information ecosystem balance. Firstly, draw on the experience of ecology principles, the theoretical basis of information ecosystem balance of library are discussed, such as the connotation of library information ecosystem, and the concept, characteristics and manifestations of information ecosystem balance of library; Secondly, combining the survey data, from multiple angles, the status quo of macro information ecosystem balance of public and university libraries in Hubei are comparatively analyzed, and targeted optimization strategies are raised; Thirdly, Yichang Library and the library of Huazhong University of Science and Technology are selected as two typical micro library information ecosystems, whose ecological balance situations are analyzed and the optimization tips are given, and then the overall comparison of the information ecosystem balance of the two libraries are summarized; Finally, the results of this study are summarized, and the limitations and prospects for future research are proposed.
