With the rise of payment platforms for knowledge and the awakening of library readers' rights consciousness,libraries are facing the problem of transformation.Therefore,libraries urgently need to think about how to systematically improve their image,give full play to their functions,better serve their readers and establish a good social image.In practice,the media report on the readers' message of Dong Guan Library during the Dragon Boat Festival in 2020 and the article of People's Daily on January 8,2021 on "Retaining old readers and attracting new ones" have aroused the keen attention of readers and scholars in the field of Library and Information Science.In terms of theory,there are few theoretical research results on the mechanism of library public relations elements based on a systemic perspective at home and abroad.Therefore,This article firstly analyzed a large number of related literature on public relations and library management;on the basis of summarizing,elaborated the theory of public trust,the situational theory of the public,contingency theory,library management rules,library image management theory.Then,it made a detailed exposition of the library public relations from the perspectives of the basic elements,element composition,and operational influence factors of the library public relations ecosystem,clarifying the elemental hierarchy and the process of the role of subjects in the library public relations ecosystem.On the mechanism of the library public relations ecosystem,using the cause-and-effect diagram method of system dynamics to theoretically analyze the cause and effect of the library public relations ecosystem,a cause-and-effect model of library public relations ecosystem was derived.Finally,This study conducted a survey of the content of readers' evaluation of various libraries in China on the Dianping.com,summarized the current status of the social image of libraries in China,categorized and analyzed the current management problems of libraries in China.In addition,based on the obtained cause-effect model of the library public relations ecosystem and the current status of China's library social image,two optimization strategies are proposed for China's library public relations construction: firstly,in terms of daily public relations strengthening,focus on active readers and aware readers and do a good job of serving every reader;secondly,in terms of crisis public relations defense,do well in the interconnection of human resources and material resources between libraries.
