Acoustic amplitude logging is a testing method, with which one can study the influence of the rock to the characteristics of acoustic amplitude attenuation.The acoustic amplitude logging is mainly used to examine the casing and the cemented situation of the cement after cementing, it uses the characteristics of the different physical geological from the full wave recording which is the sound wave amplitude from the medium of rock, rock porosity, water containing oil and gas water to study and solve geologies problems, and then find the oil and gas, metal and non metal, radioactive, groundwater, geothermal, coal and other mineral products resources.Because the problem of the speed of the signal transmission in the logging is low, the operation complicated and so on, it puts forward a new kind of method to gather and transmit data in a high speed in this paper. The system which is designed by the new method uses high-speed AD conversion and uses the flexible, efficient, cost-effective FPGA chip EP1C6 as the platform, using USB transmission realizes the acoustic amplitude logging system based on Verilog. The paper expounds of the acoustic amplitude logging principle in detail, designing the overall structure of the acquisition circuit board;It adopts the technique of FPGA for the hardware circuits in the system and finishes the corresponding peripheral hardware circuit design;This paper uses Verilog HDL language programming to achieve the frequency division module, a trigger pulse generating module, a sampling control module, USB module, RAM module circuit design and the simulation based on the Quartus 119.1 platform;At last, this paper gives the solution for some problems which were found in the FPGA design.Finally, the acoustic amplitude logging curve which was from the host computer is used to verdict the cementing quality, The low figure from the cement well shows the cement well possesses fabulous quality, while means poor quality. Through the overall system performance test which reaches the anticipated technical requirements.
