Arm11-based Design Of Embedded Video Monitoring System Terminal

In recent years, following embedded technology developing, embedded products are wildly used in industrial production and intelligent home appliance, and embedded technology also are used in security monitoring field. In the future, embedded monitoring products'development will trend to be network, integration, humanity, and specialization, because embedded technology is using in monitoring field. So the article design a device for vedio monitor, which based on embedded system.Embedded monitor terminal receive alarm informations form server, which are alarm position, alarm device, alarm level and so on, and show this alarm informations on the embedded monitor terminal. Then, the terminal also can receive video stream form hard disk video recorder and to decompression and display.This paper adopt S3C6410 of samsung as main control chip, and embedded linux as it's operating system. The main work of the article including four following aspects:1. Building embedded soft platform, it contains transplanting linux system, cross-compilation, and installed Qt.2. Interface of embedded monitor terminal. The interface incllude three windows and a graphics view system of Qt. It is't only can show the position and level of alarm point, but also can display video of camera in real time.3. Transplanting Iive555. The paper use Iive555 as streaming media server, and modify some details to adapt this project.4. Hardware decoding of S3C6410. the terminal decode video by hardware decoding of S3C6410. This method can make full use of the main control chip, and also can improve real-time of the system.
