With the development of the IP field of MPLS, MPLS VPN, service quality, traffic engineering,high reliability and the rapid development of the technology of manage- ment and maintenance.,It has becoming more mature to build a carrier-class IP bearer network. In the ground China Unicom zaozhuang branch plans to build a new carrier-class multi-service IP bearer network,the the network will be used to meet the need of the soft switching, great customer service bearer, and future 3G CS domain, 3Gpacket domain application.IP bearer network is a a special network for carrying high quality requirements on the transmission business (such as soft switching, video, VPN and other key custo- mers) built by telecom operators. IP bearer network generally use the high reliability design of the dual-plane,double star and dual core. each flow model is considerablly desighed to switch and the applicacation of MPLS TE, FRR, BFD and other technolo- gies to detect the flow break to reduce the faulty equipment/links switching time,the network is designed to carry light loads furthermore we deployed the QOS of second layer and three layer to confirm the service quality,through the these measures, the IP bearer network IP network with low cost, good scalability,Bearing service flexible features, along with transmission system reliability and safety..This paper focus on the construction of carrier-class ip bearer network, itintroduce the background of carrier-class ip bearer network and the current situation research at home and broad, analyzing the network structure and the principles of network organization of IP bearer network deployment of bearer network reliability, network management and the content of network security.
