With the raise of the concept of "Internet Of Things", a perception age is about to come. With the propelling of this technique, the technique of remote monitoring gradually develops toward the direction of perception and intelligentizing.This paper is, just under the great frame of Internet Of Things, concerned with the design of remote monitor system of intelligent dolly, choosing the typical mobile dolly as monitor object and using Embedded Technique,MCU, GPRS, SMS, GPS, QTE, sensor, ultrosonic technique and so on. The system consists of lower machine control system of DC machine, GSM/GPRS wireless comunnication network and upper machine GPRS server.The working principle of the lower machine control system of DC machine is as follows:a C8051F330 MCU generates PWM and switching signals to control a DC motor driver L298N connecting with a DC motor, and finally control the speed of the DC motor by the duty cycle of PWM waveform and the rotation direction by the switching signals, respectively. Furthermore, the C8051F330 MCU builds up a bidirectional communication connection with a GPRS module SIM900A by a series port. Therefore, SIM900A can first receive remote commands (i.e.,short message concerning the switching signals and the duty cycle of PWM waveform) and then control the DC motor by the C8051F330 MCU. The geographical position information of the mobile dolly is gotten by GPS module and the information of speed is collected by speed-detecting sensor. After treating and extracting the information, MCU sends the data to upper machine GPRS server by controlling the GPRS module online, so that users can realise the remote monitor of the operation status of the mobile dolly.The upper GPRS server comprises ARM and GPRS module. The network of the server uses mobile APN private network to fix IP, and the SIM card of the lower machine is bound in the private network, so a inner net comes into being between the lower machine and the upper machine, with data transmitting effectively, stably and safely.The TCP/IP data, which is received by the GPRS server, is displayed on the ARM-Linux interface of serial port after the way of TCP/IP to serial,which is under the embedded Linux operating system. The interface is firstly designed under the cross development environment of QT/Embedded of Linux operating system on PC, and then is flashed to the object board to run.
