The remote monitor control system has the important significance inindustry control field. In many industry cases, especially for some distributedand no watcher locale, we need to collect data at fixed time to know the localesituation in time, then according to the situation send some simple controlinstructions. The realization mode of the traditional remote monitor controlsystem always is that we construct and maintain the wire or wirelesscommunication network, like this, not only the investment financing but alsothe financing for maintenance is expensive. Following with the development ofthe communication technology, the old remote monitor control system hasalready dissatisfied the multi-aspect demand increasingly, we need thecommunication mode of which the cost is cheaper and the communicationquality is better.So in this paper we present a wireless remote monitor control systembased on GPRS. Based on this system we design a remote monitor controlsystem based on GPRS for avoiding the gas exploding, and present somediscussions and investigation in applying field. The detailed content is asfollowing:In this system GPRS network is a medium for transmitting the remotesignal. First it presents detailed explanation of GPRS network's systemstructure and the communication principle and network protocols with theprogram code and contrast the communication mode, merits, and shortcomingbetween GPRS and GSM. Because of setting up the channel forcommunication, transmitting and receiving data is realized by using ATcommand;it presents the familiar AT command and using method. Then weintroduce the hardware design of the system and expatiate on the mainhardware MC35 and microchip MSP430F149 MCU with peripheral circuit indetail. The design of the system hardware mainly includes two parts: themonitoring center and the remote monitoring station, we emphasis on thehardware design and construction of the remote monitoring station. Then weintroduce the software design of the system, it mainly includes the monitoringcenter software and the remote monitoring station software in design of systemsoftware. And we introduce and analyze the difficulties during the systemdesign.At the end of the paper it represents a remote monitor control systembased on GPRS for avoiding the gas exploding with the remote monitor controlsystem based on GPRS, and presents some discussions and investigation inapplying field.
