With the rapid development of computer and network technology, wireless video surveillance is used more widly in the remote monitoring of industrial production. Development of flexible and reliable, cost-effective remote wireless video monitoring system industry has very important practical significance.Considering the special environment for industrial production and wireless data transmission bottleneck prone, error and other issues, taking embedded remote wireless video monitoring system as the object.,in order to achieve flexible, cost-effective actual demand, we developed a remote monitoring host computer and embedded Linux-based terminal site consisting of lower computer wireless video monitoring system. This paper focuses on the H.264 coding algorithm in the system tuning; and introduces embedded Linux system set up, camera-driven development, GPRS wireless communications to achieve and to Visual Studio.NET 2008 development platform for the remote monitoring application software development.This system's on-site terminal realizes video capture, the packaging and sent of video compression data and wireless GPRS transmission of data. Against the large count produced by the H.264 high compression ratio, this paper proposes coding optimization scheme that combines fault-tolerant code with rate control. Under the same high compression ratio and high transmission rate, it reduces the degree of distortion during the process of encoding, decoding and redevelop video image, and it also reduces the degree of computational complexity of the processor. Monitoring computer extracts video archive received, reverts and reconstructs image and displays it, and completes the storage of remote machine's data. It realizes the operation such as real-time monitoring, video playback, user management, terminal management, historical data query and maintenance simply and conveniently, thus realizes the remote's real-time monitoring of wireless high-definition video to on-site.The monitoring application for the production of a concrete mixing plant shows that the embedded wireless video surveillance system this paper developed is flexibly installed, working reliably and stably. The use of code optimization combined rate control with fault-tolerant encoding not only ensures a high compression ratio, high transmission rate and high-quality image reconstruction, but also reduces the degree of distortion during the process of encoding, decoding and the degree of computational complexity of the processor. Therefore, the system has the high value of promotion for its advantages of higher performance-price ratio. |
