In the age of information, human being has heavily depended on the reliable operation of communication networks, especially on the continuous operation of backbone networks. Communication plays an important part in people's life. If communication network malfunctions, it could result in gigantic loss. A mass of data which transmit on the network require the higher survivability and reliability of the network on the one hand. On the other hand, it makes the network node malfunction more easily. A number of network malfunctions can not be predicted or avoided, as a result, the demand of self-healing network is increasing now. So, network self-healing technology of SDH in fiber optical communications network application of significance, which greatly improves the transmission network survivability and reliability. Network self-healing is a key technology to improve network survivability and network quality of service. The basic principle is to make the transmission network find an alternative route and own the ability to communicate again.But in some practical applications. Due to the use of SDH network nodes are different equipment manufacturers, so they have a problem can't achieve between from different network equipment. There are many node using machine alarm, artificial filtration circuit to backup methods, it in today's rapid development of information technology is still behind The Times. Some communication node to add equipment of hardware self-healing equipment to achieve between different factory self-healing, thus each node is to add communication from the equipment, can bring many inconvenience.This thesis expounds the network self-healing method based on equipment's CORBA interface, firstly introduced existing network self-healing technology. Second of CORBA system structure is introduced. Finally, put forward by using element management system (EMS) of CORBA interface solutions, to solve the SDH network self-healing problem between heterogeneous equipment from with the software to self-healing network.
