| As PTN construction scales continuing to expand, the intervention of the multi-vendorequipment makes network management becoming increasingly complex. This paperprovides a northbound interface design of the PTN NMS for operators. Perfectdevelopment and design of the NMS can monitoring and maintenance network equipmentefficiently, and ensure network and equipment running normally, and also provide asimpler, more user-friendly operation and service for operators.In five layers management framework of the telecommunications managementnetwork, PTN network management system is in the second layer. This paper starts withoverall demand for PTN network, and analyzes the TMN-based multi-level PTN networkmanagement system design ideas. CORBA technology is used in the communicationinterface between different levels of the TMN framework, make up the problem of toocomplex in realizing TMN Q3interface. Northbound interface is used as service entrancefor the upper network management system. Therefore, to design a reasonable and effectivenorthbound interface is particularly important in network management system. this articlewill focus on the design and implementation of the Northbound interface.Based on the functions of the northbound interface, with reference to the TMN model,the system is divided into different modules, described CORBA technology in the specificapplication in the system, and determined the northbound interface management function,and gradually refine the northbound interface development, highlighting the northboundinterface server implementation and designing the configuration management module, andfor different levels of management objects made a number of OAM operation.This research has passed the test of China Mobile Research Institute, and the resultmeets the demands of operators building the PTN network management system, and hasobvious advantages in complex integration network management system of thetelecommunications industry. |
