| These days, online media has been developing and being popularized rapidly, while the newspaper has confront a"bottleneck". What is worse, fewer and fewer young people read newspapers. Loss of young readers foreshadows there is no future for the newspaper. Therefore, knowing why young readers read newspapers or why not, what kind of contents they are fond of, and how they choose between the newspaper and online media are essential to change the adverse situation of the newspaper. The objects of this research paper are university students, who are in a critical stage of the formation of life view of the world, and also are eager to get information. On the basis of newspaper-Internet integration, three surveys were carried out. According to the conclusion of this study, with fully considering the Internet's impact on university students, the researcher give some suggestions on the development of the traditional newspaper in newspaper-Internet integration, dissemination method, content organization, editing ideas, intellectual property and other aspects. |
