With the development of technology, digital signal processor DSP is widely used in various electronic products. From portable personal digital assistant to home theater, electronic products has generated a huge impact to people's lives. People not only have a high requirement on the quality of visual but also the quality of sound. Their demand for audio has been gradually upgraded from a simple sound to hearing enjoyment. The audio effect devices have been concerned widely.This article mainly studied on the following aspects of the sound processor, that is, a dynamic gain control of digital mixer system, including compressor, expander, noise gate, etc.; digital audio processing systems, including digital audio reverb, parametric equalizer, a special sound device. Main tasks are as follows:(1) Study on the parametric equalizer algorithms, comparing parametric equalizer performance advantages and disadvantages of several design methods, and proposing a improved computer-aided method.(2) Study on the reverb algorithm to achieve two classic of the reverberation models, Schroeder model and Moorer model, and optimize the algorithm for real-time processing.(3) Study on some typical principles of special effects, including chorus, flange effects, echo effects, vibration sound, tremolo effect, stereo-move effects, and designed a special audio device for real-time processing.(4) Achieve a dynamic gain controller, with adjustable parameters in real-time.
