Digital audio technology is to convert analog audio signal into digital signal by sampling,quantization and coding,and then process it by filtering,compression,recording and other methods.When playing,digital signal is converted into analog signal to get the required sound.Although sounds in nature are analog signals,due to the advantages of digital audio,digital audio technology is generally used to process audio signals.As a part of digital audio technology used to adjust the sound effect,equalizer plays a very important role.Aiming at the problems of loudspeakers and sound field defects,combined with the requirements of dynamic adjustment of sound effect,this paper aims to design a digital audio equalizer based on digital filter to support dynamic adjustment of sound effect.The final design of digital audio equalizer equalizer can adjust the sound effect correctly in the working state,and has a small area and power consumption.Firstly,through the research of the function of digital audio equalizer,this paper determines that the design needs four sub modules,including DC cut-off module,noise detection module,mixer module and core filter module,as well as the top-level control module.And through the research of the algorithm and area of each sub module,it is determined that the digital audio equalizer realized in this design only uses one multiplier,one noise detection module,one frequency mixing module and one core filter module An IIR digital filter,an alpha filter and two SRAMs are used to call the multiplier,digital filter and SRAM when the digital audio equalizer is working.Then,in order to realize the call of each sub module and avoid the problem that the calculation of the current sampling point may be affected in the process of parameter updating,this design uses the state machine to call each sub module in turn and uses ping-pong ram to control the parameter switching of IIR digital filter.Then,according to the UVM environment,the random test and boundary condition test are carried out to determine that the top-level control structure designed in this paper can control each sub module to run in sequence,and the parameters of IIR digital filter can be written after the calculation of the current sampling point,so as to ensure the correctness of the calculation results of the current sampling point.Finally,the DC tool is used to synthesize the design in the 12nm process library.When the timing report shows that there is no timing violation in the critical path,the result shows that the area of the digital audio equalizer module is 30032.928378?m~2.The PA is used to test the power consumption,and the results show that the power consumption of the digital audio equalizer module is 2.68mW.
