With the rapid development of Internet technology and virtual instrument technology, the study of experimental system which integrated utilization of Internet technology and virtual instrument technology for remote data acquisition and control system design is becoming the hot spots.A remote experimental platform controlled by MCU and FPGA, which uses NI ELVIS and LabVIEW virtual instrument technology is proposed. It solves the problems of original platform such as poor extensibility, high expenses, not conducive to learn for users. This platform includes the following two main parts:(1) Switchable experimental platform based on FPGA:According to the ELVIS interface, we design the interface broad to expand the pin. Then FPGA control the switching process between different interface boards based on the address transferred by serial port, using analog switching technology and MOSFET switching technology.(2) Remote download control experimental platform based on AVR MCU:We design the independent function board based on AVR, which has modules such as digital display, LED display, multi-way switch, button array. At the same time, it uses IAP technology to realize remote programming download function via Internet.The platform has the web site designed by iLab architecture and Moodle technology, which integrates experimental teaching, operations, management as a whole. Now the platform can realize remote control of switching between different boards and remote download program to the MCU. Practice has proved that the experimental platform extends the experimental resources, achieves human-computer interaction, facilitates real-time monitoring and meets the needs of experimental teaching.
